This year will be Grace Lee’s fourth year as a teacher. She taught Kindergarten for three years working with ELD students in Sun Valley. Prior to that, she was a reading specialist in the Newport Mesa Unified School District teaching grades one, two, and six. She studied Human Development at UCSD. Also, she earned her masters and teaching degree at UCI. On the weekends, she enjoys volunteering through her church tutoring program. She tutors neighboring children in the Cerritos/Norwalk area. Additionally, she has visited China, India, the Philippines and Korea to teach ESL each summer. She believes in education for all learners! Grace grew up in Orange County with her family. She was always active in the community and was even part of Key Club in high school. Her parents grew up in Korea. She lives with her dog Bentley. She is excited to share and grow her passion for education as she teaches in La Cañada this year.
