La Canada Unified School District is pleased to announce that all students may have a Grab and Go lunch at no charge on January 4th. Please pick-up a lunch between 11:30 – 12:30 at the La Canada High School Snack Bar.

This is a friendly reminder that as part of our Family Learning Series, we will be hosting a workshop entitled “Preparing Future Leaders for a Diverse World - Understanding Restorative Practices”, facilitated  by Dr. Aaron I. Bruce, MIBA, PhD. this evening, Tuesday December 7 from 6:00p.m.-7:30p.m.

The LCUSD Governing Board will hold an emergency meeting to discuss the health and safety protocol updates from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health related to students returning from winter break. You can join remotely on the LCUSD YouTube page or in person. Click for the link.

Our health and safety return to campus protocols include completing a daily health screener. LCUSD is reopening our schools for the 2021-2022 school year. All campuses will return to in-person instruction with their traditional 5 days per week bell schedules. LCUSD site and district administration monitor updated orders and protocols from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH), which inform many areas of reopening planning. The Reopening Plan outlines the health and safety measures for this school year. As protocols adjust from LACDPH, the LCUSD Reopening Plan will return to the School Board for discussion and adjustments.

La Canada Unified School District is pleased to announce we will offer all students a school lunch at no charge in the coming 2021-22 school year. All students enrolled in the district are eligible to receive a healthy lunch at no charge. No further action is necessary.

Each year, districts across California complete an action plan related to goals and services that link with the budget. A committee made up of parents, staff, and students meet multiple times as well as engage in extensive outreach to connected groups across the district.
